The Mission

Our team set out on a high-priority freight movement for a worldwide technology company. Handling this cargo required various sequenced steps for loading in collaboration with the warehouses' on-site team members. To ensure security, the trailer was set up with additional safety tools such as load bars and straps. Our mission was to execute highly on these expectations and maintain our commitment to complete a timely, secure delivery.

The Challenge

We arrived early to manage any unforeseen issues at pick-up and ensure a smooth transit.  However, while in transit to ORD, the airline asked for additional new documentation. As this cargo had a tight lock-out time, this new change meant time was of the essence to resolve questions and communicate clearly. The challenge became working with the shipper and forwarder to promptly address all communication we were receiving that was needed for documentation. 

The Solution

Upon arrival with export air freight at Chicago's ORD, the airline required additional documentation that could cause delays and potentially cause the cargo to miss the flight. Our office team immediately stepped in, coordinating with the airline and our client to expedite the process. Through clear communication and swift action, we worked to resolve the issue efficiently.
